About The Chamber of Commerce
The Gilmer Area Chamber of Commerce is an organization that exists to enhance Gilmer’s and the surrounding area's quality of life by welcoming, uniting and promoting business. We are an organization with over 300 business and individual members who provide goods and services to the growing economy of the Gilmer area.
The Gilmer Area Chamber of Commerce is the “Voice of Business” and an advocate for the business community, making things happen and maintaining/strengthening a strong business environment in the area. The Chamber of Commerce does this through advocacy, resources, and connections to/for the business community while being good fiscal stewards of our members’ investments.
By providing advocacy, resources, and connections, the mission of the Gilmer Area Chamber of Commerce is to support, strengthen and grow members’ businesses, thereby contributing to and improving the entire community.
